The event gathered leading shipbuilders from across the Pacific Rim.
VLADIVOSTOK. August 23. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The 24th Asian-Pacific Technical Exchange and Advisory Meeting on Marine Structures has opened in Vladivostok today.
The event has traditionally gathered more than 200 researchers, engineers, top executives of shipbuilding companies, and representatives of design bureaus from across the Pacific Rim.
The first part of the conference runs from August 23 through 26 in the Nevelskoy Maritime State University, an official said. The second part of the international event includes a visit to Zvezda Shipyard in Bolshoy Kamen.
First held in 1987, the conference has grown into a major event providing a venue for researchers and engineers of ship and marine structures in the Asian-Pacific region to exchange their ideas and share the results of their most recent research, and is held in English.
The conference is conducted in the English language.
