Aleksandr Khoroshavin stated that he attach great importance to the presentation of Sakhalin in the Republic of Korea.
“Basically, it would be the first major event of this kind. We hope the event will expand the investment cooperation between the Sakhalin Oblast and the Republic of Korea. It is essential that the initiative to organize such event has been supported by Russian and Korean presidents and by foreign affairs ministries,” the Governor said.
According to him, the main topics of the event will be the showcase for the current achievements in economic development of Sakhalin and the highlighting of the primary trends and lines of development of the region taking into account the opportunities for cooperation with the Republic of Korea on implementation of the development projects.
