VLADIVOSTOK. May 8. VOSTOK MEDIA. – A Chinese citizen tried to transport from Russia over 42 kilograms of trepang. The members of Khasan customs brought an action about administrative violation upon this fact.
A press secretary of Khasan customs Tatiana Pakulova reports that the members of Khasan customs realized customs processing and customs supervision of a bus with a group of Russian tourists from Slavanka in Hunchun in check point Kraskino. A product of biological origin was found in a hiding-place between luggage space and bus floor during customs supervision. Admittedly it was trepang. Biological species were packed into 35 polythene bags wrapped with scotch. A bus driver reports that he bought trepang in Slavanka for 32 000 rubbles for personal consumption.
The total weight of withdrew ‘sea cucumber’ was 42,1 кг, its approximate market-value is 218 000 rubbles. All trepang and even a bus were withdrawn as an object and a tool of malefaction. The bioresources is directed to commodity expertise. A case about administrative violation is committed to Khasan district court.
