Bridge to China to Be Build in 2011

BLAGOVESHCHENSK. April 25. VOSTOK MEDIA. – A bridge which will connect a village Nizhnelenenskoe in the Jewish Autonomous Oblast and Chinese city of Tongjiang will be built in 2011. Today all necessary work coordinations are adopted by Russian and Chinese ministries, the project of an intergovernmental agreement on construction of a railway bridge is prepared. This project shall be signed in the second quarter of 2008.
The building owner is Aricom company which has a license for elaboration of micaceous iron ore, titanic iron ore and titanous occurrences in the Jewish Autonomous Oblast and Amur Oblast. China will provide the main sale market. An investor needs building the bridge across Amur to make production prime cost cheaper. The bridge cost is over 6 billion rubles.
Alexander Dolganov, deputy head of the industry, transport and energy board of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast Government said that the construction project is elaborating in spite of that fact that there is not yet a final decision about the bridge construction.
He says that prospective cargo turn-over will be about 20 ml. tons per year. Export will constitute 13 ml. tons, and the remaining volume will constitute import. Farm products and construction materials will be the main objects of sale. But the purpose requires modernization of a road between the cities of Birobidjan and Leninsk. The cost of this project will account for nearly 11 ml. rubles.
These two projects are included in “Strategies 2030” program.
