French Sailors in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK.14 August. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Battle ship “Vandemier” on August, 15 will visit the main base of Pacific Fleet.
Visit is aimed at: joint two-sided training operations and further development of mutual cooperation in APR. “Marshal Shaposhnikov” under command of Abdrey Kuznetsov will take participation from the Russian side.
Call of “Vandemier” will be forestalled with bilateral trainings. At the moment they are being held in the Japanese sea and will be finished tomorrow, August, 15. it is held according to a plan of International activity of Pacific Fleet 2008.
Participants are working through mutual actions for the sake of civil shipping.
Accoprding to plan sailors of both sides will hold trainings in communicating and joint ship maneuvers, helicopter training and artillery marine target shooting.
During the training operation for protecting regions of active civil navigation ships will have a joint pursuit of “trespassers” with aviation. it is presented by the Russian military jets IL-38 and helicopter KA-27.
At the training operation a French jet will have to land at the platform of “Marshall Shaposhnikov”.
Supervision from the Russian side is held by commander in ship formation, captain Ildar Ahmedov.
