“Pallada” Sets Full Sails

VLADIVOSTOK. August 7. VOSTOK-MEDIA. “Pallada” arrives on August, 11. At the Official ceremony honorable guests such as federal inspector in Primorskiy Krai, Sergey Leluyhin, mayor of Vladivostok, Igor Pushkarev, Krai authorities, deputes, public and cadets of the Far Eastern Fishery University will greet "Pallada".
At the pier 33 the special meeting devoted to the celebrating of the “Pallada” circumnavigation will be held. According to tradition, Rector of FEFU will present a pig box to Captain of the sail boat.
Circumnavigation of “Pallada” started last year. It commemorated 190th anniversary of the Russian circumnavigation of F. Bellinsgauzen and M. Lazarev and 50th anniversary of the Soviet exploration in the Pacific Ocean and Antarctica. During the circumnavigation “Pallada” has gone 34.000 miles and called 20 countries.
Official ceremony will be held on August, 11 at 10.00, pier 33, Vladivostok.
