Commanding Officers of the Sail Boat “Guayas” Visited Administration of Vladivostok

At the protocol meeting parts discussed economic perspectives between friendly countries

VLADIVOSTOK. 6 August. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Commodore of the Ecuadorian sail boat “Guayas” Freddy Garcia Koll and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Ecuador Republic Patricio Chaves Savala paid a visit to the Representative of Vladivostok, supervising the International Relations, Alexander Zubritskiy.
The training sail boat “Guayas” arrived at Vladivostok on August, 5th, with 18 officers, 80 cadets and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Ecuador Republic in the Russian Federation Patricio Chaves Savala. Program includes visit to the Commanding Officer of the Pacific Fleet, meeting of Ecuadorian and Russian sailors, excursion around Vladivostok, wreath laying at the monument of “Battle Glory of the Russian Pacific Fleet” and other activities. The sail boat leaves Vladivostok on August, 10th.
At the protocolary meeting parts discussed economic perspectives between friendly countries. Russia and Ecuador set up the official relations in 1945. Since that time countries hold on stable friendly relations. In the Soviet period commodity circulation was 20 $ mln a year and nowadays Ecuadorian export has increased and reached a level of 350 $ mln.
As Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Patricio Chaves Savala said the Ecuadorian Government thinks necessary to concentrate their efforts at 3 directions: trade, scientific and industrial progress and military cooperation. Opportunities of this market development are great, says the Press Service of the Local Administration.
