General Plan of Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. 27 July. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Midiation Commission approved the General Plan of Vladivostok. This decision was taken at the meeting which was chaired by the Governor, Sergey Darkin. Document plans development of transportation infrastructure, engineering communication, energy and water supply objects for years ahead. Housing objects are under a special control: objects will be built by micro districts of Vladivostok that will eliminate “infill construction” problem.
Sergey Darkin highlighted: “Vladivostok has been living out of plan since 1989 and it negatively influenced on its development”. The main advantage of the document is its detailed work-up and harmonization of all developing spheres. Transportation and road networks and community infrastructure are obliged to consider housing construction requirements.
The General Plan is necessary to facilitate the construction for APEC 2012.
Official signing ceremony and presentation of the General Plan of Vladivostok will be held on Monday, July, 28.
