Experimental Gold Process Plant in Magadan

MAGADAN. 25 July. VOSTOK-MEDIA. An experimental gold plant was set out in the field “Natalka” in Tenkovskiy district, Magadan region. The organizing company is the JSC “Matrosov’s Mine”.
They plan to experience all known technologies of gold enrichment and set out a project of a new mining and processing complex giving 40 million tones of ore a year, - says the managing director of the JSC “Matrosov’s Mine”, Michail Kazimirov.
Annual productivity will be around 120 thousand tones of ore, and then they plan to increase its efficiency.
Gold mine of Natalka located in the basin of the Omchak river in 400 km from Magadan is the largest in protected resources in Russia (more than 1800 tonnes of gold). In the period of 1945-2004 about 95 tonnes of gold were mined. At the moment the mining license is obtained by the JSC “Matrosov’s Mine” which is a part of gold mining company “Polyus Zoloto”.
