Ocean Liner “Pacific Venus” comes back to Japan with good hopes

VLADIVOSTOK. 23 July. VOSTOK-MEDIA. The Japanese delegation headed by the Governor of the Shimane prefecture finished an official visit to Vladivostok.
At the press-conference in Vladivostok Mr. Jambee Midzuguti informed about a contract signed by FESCO (Far Eastern Shipping Company) and the Japanese company ABP stating to open a new shipping line between Vladivostok and the Japanese port Hamada. As explained by Mr. Midzuguti, a call of the second largest ocean liner “Pacific Venus” to Vladivostok is intended to coincide with the visit. 250 representatives of the province Shimane and City Hall of Hamada arrived to Vladivostok by the liner. Besides, the delegates became the main actors of the theatrical dancing performance “Ivami Kagura”, which attracted the capacity of the Officer’s House. Theatrical performances have become a hobby of the local officials.
Delegates from Japan organized an exhibition “Shimane Fair” where they exposed production of the local industries in Shimane. Citizens and guests of Vladivostok saw the true value of tasted and purchased goods.
In the morning, July, 23, “Pacific Venus” left Vladivostok and laid its course for the Japanese shores.
