Customs says: All products undergo radiation monitoring
VLADIVOSTOK. March 31. VOSTOK-MEDIA - All goods, including vehicles, international postage and persons falling within the Primorye from abroad, pass radiation monitoring.
According to the press secretary of the Vladivostok customs Victoria Shamayev, not avoided radiation monitoring and goods from Japan, affected by the emission of radiation. Land of the Rising Sun is one of the major trade partners of Russia in the area of responsibility of the Vladivostok customs.
So, in 2010 the total value of imports amounted to 4,625 million U.S. dollars, while the share of goods from Japan was 17 percent. The largest portion of imported Japanese goods are motor vehicles and parts (35.2%), boilers, machinery and other mechanical equipment (34%), ferrous metals (8.7%), machinery and electrical equipment (5,7% ).The share of food products is negligible and amounted to less than 3%.
